Funding Logos

The overall management of Home-Start Lorn is the responsibility of the trustees. Aileen Binner, the scheme manager, is responsible for the day to day running of the service.

Aileen recruits, selects and prepares volunteers before 'matching' them to a family.

Linda Leggett provides the admin support for the organisation.

It costs £72,000 to provide Home-Start services in Oban, Lorn and Mull. Argyll & Bute Council and the Big Lottery each contribute £25,000 towards our costs. The remainder of our funding is sourced from a variety of other charitable trusts including The Henry Duncan Awards, The Robertson Trust, The Cattenach Trust and the Gannochy Trust as well as local fundraising and donations.
